About Me

Welcome to my Shiatsu studio in Notre-Dame-de-Grace, Montreal!
I worked in various corporate jobs for years, and suffered burnout because of it. As a result of all I have personally experienced, I understand how important it is to support our bodies during times of stress, change, and transition.
In 2023, I transitioned to a career as a manual therapist so I can support you on your wellness journey. States of deep relaxation are essential to your healing process, and the modalities I practice allow you access to these states.
I look forward to supporting you along your journey!
What is Shiatsu?
Shiatsu massage is a blend of traditional Chinese medicine and Japanese massage techniques. It focuses, among other things, on the meridians (energy channels of the body where Qi, or vital energy, circulates) as well as on acupuncture points in order to help the body self-regulate. The treatment does not require oil, and is performed over clothing on a futon. Gentle and powerful pressure on specific points, mobilizations, and stretching are provided.
My clients have experienced relaxation, improved sleep, and relief from a variety of symptoms.

What Does A Session Entail?
Each Shiatsu session involves a brief intake, and about one hour of treatment. You will be fully clothed, and lie on a futon, supported by cushions for maximum comfort. After doing a hara diagnostic to determine where your energy might be blocked or unbalanced, I will use my hands, elbow, and sometimes my knees, to stimulate pressure points along your meridians. While Shiatsu massage therapy is normally gentle in nature, I can adjust pressure according to your feedback.
